Ponui Junior 9 January 2003

Thursday. Forum. Rain. Concert.

Leaders meeting

A sleepy bunch of leaders. It is early. We are listening.

Boy Band

Our own resident boy band is showing off their very funky maneuvers.

Groupees

and some of us are following along. Go the GB orange passes.

Patient

Patiently we wait our turn for the gastronomic delights of breakfast.

Servants

Leadership is all about servanthood and these young campers are honing their leadership skills.

Forum

Many tricky issues were discussed by the leaders in response to forum questions. We are all on a journey of discovering God's answers for our lives.

Rain

The rain came down and the grass turned into a swamp.

Grace

Especially in the extreme conditions we are thankful for every meal. This nice song is especially special.

Dinner Party

Dinner time was quite an event for the DCT explosion this evening. I wonder why I wasn't invited.

Points

The final tallies are close. There are some big scores coming in now. Who is going to walk away with the grand prize this year?

RESPECT

I know that this song is about respect but I don't know how to help the poor people at the front of this.

Oranges

A mischevious plan is hatched with some simple oranges.

Movies

At the movies there can be some annoying neighbours.

World Travellers

A journey all over the world by a very intrepid explorer. And to think he didn't make it to NZ.

Dangerous

A dangerous song this turned out to be as the swings of one persons arms seemed awfully risky to me.

Audience

The audience was held spelbound by the humour, the worship, the silliness, the drama of it all.

Winners

The points for sports, duties and tents have been tallied and our winners found.

Thankyous

Thankyous are said and given to everyone who has invested so much in Ponui Junior 2003. Here are the tent leaders.

Worship

Jumping, thumping together for the second to last time. (We saved the last time till on the barge at Kawakawa Bay).
